NEW USER ONBOARDING CHECKLIST
DUO
Enroll the user in Duo with their cell phone number and provide the password form. Make sure they are on “ACTIVE” state on our end then ask them to log in to their laptop, set up Duo Offline Mode for the user.
OFFICE, OneDrive & EMAIL
Make sure the user is logged into all office apps, including OneDrive, outlook, teams.
FRESH SERVICE | MYTN
Show the user how to use the Freshservice desk and submit a ticket. Then, bookmark the MYTN portal by navigating to TN Arena LP - Dashboard > Home.
Make sure both Freshservice and MYTN are bookmarked in their browser for easy access.
Password Reset, Policy
Explain the password policy, which requires passwords to be at least 14 characters long and include at least two of the following four complexity types: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters (for example, two special characters and not all lowercase). Instruct the user to reset their password at portal.office.com, and let them know that doing so will automatically update both their computer login and VPN credentials. Clarify that password changes are only required if there is an indication of compromise.
Submit Phish
Show the user where to find the Submit Phish button in Outlook and explain that they should use it whenever they receive a suspicious email. Remind them not to click on any suspicious links.

VPN
Show the user how to log in to the VPN and explain that they must approve the Duo push notification for the connection to work. Emphasize that the VPN does not display a prompt indicating a push was sent, which new users often overlook. Also, let them know that the VPN will not work if they are already connected to the corporate Wi-Fi or wired network at the office.
JABBER
Show the user how to log in to Jabber using their username and password, if the application is available to them.
ADOBE
If the user has been assigned any Adobe licenses, ensure that Adobe Creative Cloud is installed on their device.
